Ensuring the Mental Wellbeing of all members, players, coaches, staff and their families is an area of key focus for us.

The Foundation has put in place a Mental Wellbeing programme which ensures any Richmond Rugby Club adult member or player, coach, staff and their immediate family, have access to support, advice, information and counselling services any time of the day or night, 365 days a year. Users must be 18 years old or over and family is defined as living in the same household.
Leading industry providers Care First, will provide services online, by phone and/or in person according to need.
In addition to the above programme for adult members and players of Richmond Rugby Club, the Club’s Community Department has also developed a partnership with STEM4, who specialise in supporting positive mental health in teenagers. What can Care first help with?
At Home:
Balancing home life with work can be challenging, especially if you are experiencing difficulties in your personal life. You can get help with issues such as; Debt, Finances, Relationships, Family, Your Home, Bereavement and Childcare.
At Work:
Many of our friendships, goals, ambitions and experiences stem from the workplace. Coping with work-related pressures will help maintain your wellbeing and the ability to be positive and effective. You can get help with issues such as Stress, Change, Conflict, Promotion, Pressure, Retirement.
Your Health:
Good health is the foundation of a happy life. You can get help with issues such as Physical health, Wellbeing, Stress, Nutrition; a place to check out health worries or to get inspiration and support for healthy habits.
Counselling:
If you wish to discuss any of the above issues with someone in-person, you can book up to six one-on-one sessions for each situation with a trained counsellor.
All counsellors are members of, and Accredited to, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), with extensive experience and expertise.
Whatever your situation you can be sure of a supportive and constructive response. You are not alone.
